Built by a futures trader who outgrew his spreadsheet.
Almanac started as a personal journal for trading several prop accounts at once, and grew into the tool it is now.
Most trading journals are built for stocks and options. Prop firm trading adds its own bookkeeping: evals with targets and minimum days, trailing drawdowns that move with your peak, payout buffers, the firm's split on every withdrawal, and the same trade copied across several accounts.
Almanac keeps that bookkeeping next to the trades. Each account's balance builds from what you log, each payout knows which account it came from, and each strategy keeps its own numbers so one setup can't hide another.
It is independent and trader-owned, and the features come from people using it every session. Requests from traders in the Discord often ship within days; the updates page lists them.
