Privacy Policy

Almanac is a trading journal for prop-firm traders. Your trading data is yours — this page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the things we never do. Questions? Email almanacsupport@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by our authentication provider). We never store your password in plain text.
• Your journal — the trades, accounts, payouts, expenses, notes, screenshots, videos and settings you choose to enter.
• Payment details — processed entirely by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Minimal technical data — basic logs needed to operate, secure and debug the service.

How we use it

Only to run the product: to store and display your journal, calculate your stats, manage your subscription, and answer your support requests. We do not use your trading data for anything else.

What we never do

We never sell, rent or trade your personal or trading data, and we never share it with advertisers. Your journal exists to help you trade better — full stop.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Almanac, each acting on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:

• Render — application hosting; runs the Almanac server that processes your requests.
• Supabase — database and authentication for your account and journal.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, general region) so we can see what's working. It never sees the contents of your journal.

Security

Your data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored with a reputable cloud provider. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

Your rights & control

You can export your entire journal at any time from Settings. You can delete your account, which permanently removes your journal and personal details — so export anything you want to keep first. To make any data request, just email us.

Cookies

We use the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, plus Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage statistics. No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking for ads.

Age

Almanac is intended for adults (18+) trading with prop firms and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the date above and let you know in-app or by email.
